Bupati menjelaskan, penerapan new normal atau back to normal pada penyelenggaraan kegiatan keagamaan di rumah-rumah ibadah harus tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan dan harus mematuhi aturan yang sudah dibuat pemerintah.
Bupati Sunur mengatakan bahwa kembali ke kehidupan normal atau back to normal dengan tatanan hidup baru, Pemerintah Kabupaten Lembata telah mengeluarkan Surat Edaran Bupati Lembata Nomor : TUK.430/1033 Tahun 2020 tentang Pedoman Penyelenggaraan Kegiatan Keagamaan di Rumah Ibadah Dalam Mewujudkan Masyarakat Produktif dan Aman Covid-19 di Masa Pandemi.
Sunur mengutip beberapa ketentuan seperti mengharuskan pengurus rumah Ibadah mengajukan permohonan surat keterangan bahwa kawasan/wilayah rumah Ibadahnya aman dari Covid-19; setiap tempat ibadah wajib melakukan pengetesan suhu tubuh dengan menggunakan alat thermo gun dan menunjuk petugas pengawas melakukan pengawasan penerapan protokol kesehatan di area rumah ibadah serta ketentuan-ketentuan lain pada Surat Edaran Bupati Lembata dan Surat Edaran dari Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan Covid-19, ungkap Sunur.
Sementara itu, Tokoh Agama se kota Lewoleba mengapresiasi Pemerintah kabupaten Lembata yang kembali membuka rumah-rumah ibadah setelah lebih kurang dua bulan ditutup akibat wabah Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19).
Kepala Kantor Departemen Agama Kabupaten Lembata, H. Ishak Sulaiman,S.Ag Dalam kesempatan tersebut menyampaikan mengapresiasi terhadap langkah Pemkab Lembata.
Isaak mengatakan, “Kita bersyukur hingga saat ini di Lembata masih zona hijau, dan kebijakan untuk kembali melakukan aktivitas keagamaan, sejalan dengan edaran dari kementrian dan berlaku bagi daerah yang berada di zona hijau covid-19”
Dan hari ini menjadi momentum berharga karena, Pemerintah mengambil langkah penting menjadikan Lembata salah satu Kabupaten di NTT yang lebih dahulu membuka aktifitas ibadah keagamaan ungakap Isaak.
Deken Lembata, RD. Sinyo Da’ Gomes memberikan apresiasi atas kebijakan pemkab Lembata. “ Langkah ini juga menjadi kerinduan umat supaya bisa beribadah bersama di gereja meski dengan batasan protokol Kesehatan,” tandas Sinyo.
Deken Lembata Romo Sinyo da Gomes, belum memastikan apakah perayaan ekaristi di gereja sudah bisa dilaksanakan atau belum meski sudah mendapat petunjuk dari pemerintah.
Romo Sinyo menuturkan dirinya masih harus berkonsultasi dengan Uskup Larantuka untuk menentukan saat yang tepat untuk dimulainya aktivitas keagamaan di gereja terutama perayaan ekaristi hari minggu.
Bupati Lembata mengatakan, ” kalau mau laksanakan ibadah, maka perhatikan ketentuan sesuai edaran yang sudah dibagikan. Boleh ditambahkan aturannya, tapi jangan dikurangi, tandasnya
Diakhir sambutannya Sunur meminta agar surat edaran yang dibagikan dapat diteruskan kepada umat agamanya masing-masing, sehingga semua dapat terlaksana sesuai dengan mekanisme yang berlaku. mediasurya.com
