Dalam sambutan saat membuka turnamen yang di ikuti oleh 17 club sepak bola tersebut, camat Omesuri menyampaikan atas nama Pemda Lembata memberikan apresiasi setinggi tingginya untuk, mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Ikatan keluarga hingalamamengi Makasar, Kupang dan Jawa yang telah melihat animo dan keinginan di kalangan muda omesuri, dan kemudian menuangkannya dalam bentuk turnamen sepakbola hari ini.
Camat Elmandiri menegaskan yang patut menjadi perhatian adalah sportifitas karenanya pesan saya (camat), wasit harus memimpin secara adil dan tegas serta, konsekuen dalam penerapan aturan sebagai suatu proses pembelajaran bagi seluruh pemain.
Pada poin berikut mantan Plt. Kepala Kebangpol Lembata ini menegaskan agar, semua kesebelasan diminta untuk menerapkan permainan yang indah dengan mengedepankan fair play sehingga, menjadi tontonan yang menarik bagi masyarakat .
