Pantauan media ini retribusi masuk pelabuhan sesuai perda kabupaten Lembata nomor 1 tahun 2020 tentang perubahan kedua atas perda kabupten lembata nomor 4 tahun 2011 tentang retribusi jasa usaha dengan biaya sekali masuk pelabuhan Rp.10.000 (sepuluh ribu rupiah) untuk kendaraan roda empat dan Rp.5000 (lima ribu rupiah) untuk roda dua di nilai masyrakat terlampau mahal.
Agus seorang tukang ojek kepada media ini mengatakan, pendapatan kami tidak seberapa tapi, kalau antar penumpang ke pelabuhan harus bayar pas masuk 5000 itu bagi kami mahal. Kalau kami beri naik harga ojek penumpang keberatan.
Masih menurut Agus, kalau satu hari kami antar 10 penumpang masuk pelabuhan kami harus bayar 50.000 ribu itu banyak sekali padahal 50.000ribu itu bisa untuk beli beras ikan buat istri anak makan ujar tukang ojek ini sedih.
