Mediasurya.com, Waiwerang – Prokompim Flotim, Bupati Flores Timur Antonius Hubertus Gege Hadjon, ST meresmikan penggunaan jembatan darurat bailey bantuan dari Kepala Staf Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Darat (KASAD TNI AD) Jumat, 16 April 2021 siang.

Dansatgas Mayor CZI Alex Yudianto (Wadanyonzikon 14/sws) Mewakili pihak TNI secara resmi Menyerahkan jembatan militer ini kepada pemerintah Flores Timur yang diterima secara langsung oleh Bupati Flores Timur Antonius H. Gege Hadjon, ST, untuk nantinya dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Flores Timur seterusnya.
Dalam sambutannya Mayor Alex Yudianto menyampaikan jembatan Bailey tersebut dibawa oleh satgas Zeni Konstruksi (Zikon) menggunakan kapal Adri 48, yang tiba di pelabuhan Deri 12 April 2021 pukul 17.00 dan selanjutnya tiba di Koramil Adonara Timur pukul 22.00.

Lanjut Mayor Alex pemasangan jembatan bailey ini dikerjakan oleh anggota TNI selama 3 hari, mulai 13 April 2021 sampai dengan pengoperasiannya pada hari ini.
Alex menjelaskan bahwa jembatan sepanjang 15 meter ini didesain khusus untuk penyeberangan kendaraan lapis baja jenis Scorpion, dan maksimal dapat menahan bobot kendaraan hingga 10 ton. Alex berpesan dalam pengoperasiannya untuk kendaraan roda 4 keatas jembatan ini hanya boleh dilalui 1 kendaraan saja setiap saatnya, sehingga diharapkan aparat TNI/POLRI dapat bertugas mengatur lalulintas kendaraan yang melalui jembatan tersebut.

Saat penyerahan jembatan yang menghubungkan Waiwerang dan Waiburak, Mayor Alex berpesan kepada Pemerintah dan masyarakat Flores Timur untuk dapat merawat dan selalu memperkuatnya kembali di masa mendatang.
Menutup sambutannya Mayor Alex menyampaikan bahwa adalah suatu kehormatan bagi TNI, saat dapat membantu mengurangi beban penderitaan masyarakat Korban bencana di Adonara dan juga dapat memperlancar mobilitas ekonomi masyarakat kedepannya dengan meyelesaikan pemasangan jembatan militer tersebut.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut Bupati Flores Timur Antonius Hubertus Gege Hadjon, ST dalam sambutannya saat menerima bantuan jembatan Bailey dari KASAD TNI AD menyampaikan terimakasih kepada pihak TNI yang sudah sejak tanggal 5 April silam, setelah bencana badai siklon tropis seroja langsung menerjunkan anggota dan peralatannya ke lokasi bencana, guna membantu penanganan bencana alam di Adonara, Kabupaten Flores Timur.
Bupati Anton selanjutnya menerima secara resmi jembatan bailey yang diberikan oleh pihak TNI kepada pemerintah Kabupaten Flores Timur. Bupati Anton berharap dengan akan dibangunnya sekitar 4 jembatan bailey lagi oleh TNI di beberapa titik yang masih terputus dapat membuat akses jalan yang terputus akibat bencana perlahan-lahan bisa diretas kembali.
