Komisi 3 dalam laporan terkait hasil kunker terhadap dinas kepemudaan, olahraga dan kebudayaan kabupaten Lembata menjelaskan bahwa meski menuai polemik di kalangan masyarkat, explorasi budaya dirancang pelaksanaannya dengan maksud mendorong pengetahuan dan kecintaan masyarkat akan heterogenitas kebudayaan lokal yang dimiliki masing-masing kelompok budaya yang ada di kabupaten Lembata.
Kegiatan explorasi budaya Lembata yang dikemas dalam tiga bagian penting yakni, seremonial ritual adat, pentas budaya dan tolak show yang berorientasi pada pentingnya memperbaiki relasi manusia dengan manusia, manusia dengan leluhur, manusia dengan alam dan manusia dengan Tuhan dengan harapan agar hasil kegiatan dikemas sebagai kurikulum pembelajaran muatan lokal bagi kepentingan Pelestarian Budaya dan mendukung pembangun pariwisata daerah. Kegiatan sare Dame yang telah berganti identitas menjadi explirasi budaya Lembata segera dikonsolidasikan untuk meredam terjadinya bias penafsiran dan potensi konflik yang sudah terlanjur terjadi ditengah masyarakat.
Kegiatan explorasi budaya SeyogYanya mengakomodir kelompok adat yang ada untuk, menghindari agitasi tendesius yang dapat membenturkan kelompok masyarakat demi existensi persatuan dan keharmonisan penyelenggaraan pembangunan daerah.
