Mediasurya.com, LEMBATA – Presiden Republik Indonesia, Joko Widodo, Jumat (9/4/2021) siang menjanjikan perbaikan infrastruktur di Lembata, Nusa Tenggara Timur yang rusak akibat badai Seroja yang melanda Lembata, Minggu (4/4/2021) lalu.Kerusakan infrastruktur terutama jalan dan jembatan.

Presiden Jokowi saat meninjau lokasi pengungsian di Kantor Camat Ile Ape, di Desa Waipukang, menyempatkan diri untuk berbicara kepada wartawan.Presidenpun hanya berujar ringkas “itu juga akan diperbaiki,” ujar Jokowi saat dimintai komentarnya tentang kerusakan parah infrastruktur di Lembata.
Meski Presiden masih mau memberikan pernyataan kepada wartawan, namun dicegah Gubernur NTT, Viktor Laiskodat. “Udah udah, nanti aja,” demikian Gubernur Laiskodat melarang wartawan.
Selain itu, berbicara kepada wartawan di Waipukang, Presiden Joko Widodo menegaskan, pihaknya siap mengirimkan biaya membangun rumah warga terdampak banjir bandang di Lembata dalam satu minggu, asalkan Pemerintah Provinsi NTT dan Kabupaten Lembata menyiapkan lahan
“Tadi saya sudah di lokasi. Tadi saya dan Gubernur dan Bupati menyampaikan akan direlokasi. Kemudian segera dibangun rumahnya. Kita udah siap. Tinggal nanti, Bupati dan Gubernur mendapatkan lokasi, rumahnya akan segera dikirim. Nggak ada seminggu, nanti sudah,” janji Presiden Jokowi
