Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan guna menindaklanjuti Instruksi Pemerintah, yang mana Indonesia telah ditetapkan Darurat Covid-19 atau Virus Corona.

Dalam himbauan tersebut juga disampaikan agar, Bagi Masyarakat yang baru tiba dari Luar Lembata, atau perantauan (Luar Negeri) segera melaporkan diri pada Rumah Sakit atau Pos Pelayanan Kesehatan terdekat, guna mendeteksi Virus Corona atau Covid-19.
Masyarakat diharapkan untuk, Rajin Mencuci Tangan Sebelum dan Sesudah Beraktifitas. Dan Tingkatkan Daya Tahan Tubuh Dengan Mengonsumsi Gizi Seimbang, Minuma Air Putih Yang Cukup dan Selalu Berolahraga dan Jangan Lupa Untuk Istirahat Yang Cukup.
